Our Church

Peace began in King of Prussia in 1965 to serve the Upper Merion
community and the greater Philadelphia area with the peace of Jesus.

 

For nearly sixty years we have continued to proclaim the good news of
forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Jesus, the peace that God gives us.

 

Six decades later our mission remains the same: To bring the peace of Jesus
to the people of Upper Merion and to people throughout metro Philly.

 

Beyond southeastern Pennsylvania, Peace is connected to
larger church organizations world-wide. Peace is a member of
the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS),
the third largest Lutheran church body in America with
over 1200 congregations and mission work in 49 countries.

 

In addition, the WELS is a member of the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference, joined together with 33 other church bodies throughout the world.
